VPN Not Starting Fix

If your VPN is not starting you can try to restart it using the script provided or manually by restarting the VPN service.

Fastest way.. Using the Script provided at the bottom of this page under "Attachments" :
To use the script that will automatically stop & restart your VPN service please download it to your computer and then right mouse click on it and choose 'Run as Administrator'.

(You will need admin rights to do this)

To restart the VPN Manually:

If you are running Windows 8 or 10 click on your Open your Apps screen and begin typing 'Computer Management' until it shows up. Then click it to open it.

OR

Open File Explorer as if you were going to open a file inside your Documents folder.

On the left hand side look for 'This PC' or 'My Computer' depending on your operating system.









Right Mouse click on 'This PC' (or My Computer) and pick 'Manage':

The Computer Management Window Opens.

On the left hand side click on 'Services and Applications' to open it:




















Click on Services:










On the right hand side of the screen scroll down all the way to LogMeIn Hamachi Tunneling Engine and double click on it.












The Hamachi Services Window Opens.

The Status should be Running. If it is not click on START.
If the Status is running then STOP it and wait until it stops and then START it using the Start button.





















This should start the Hamachi VPN and you should now see the icon on your taskbar.




Once it is running you can double click on the Icon and make sure it is powered ON and your VPN connection has a green dot on it.












If it is not you can use the power button to activate it once more.













After opening and starting the VPN make sure you check to see if you are running the latest update by going to the menu and choosing 'Check for Updates'












Note: If this does not solve your issue please open a support ticket requesting a new install.
